Bill is a founding member and the senior partner in the practice. His practice focuses on business matters, primarily involving closely held companies and their management. Bill gives advice to management, and others charged with management responsibilities (e.g., corporate directors, LLC managing members, managers and managing general partners) regarding operations and transactions, including mergers / acquisitions and disputes among partners, shareholders, members and management.
His clients have included several members of the bench and bar, and a number of individuals who are frequently involved in company compliance, governance, acquisition and syndication issues. Bill acts as outside general counsel for closely held companies, providing advice in various transactions including interested director, fiduciary duty and similar issues. He has also served as counsel for receivers and liquidating trustees in dissolutions effected via superior court proceedings.

Bill has been certified as an instructor on governance issues by the California Bar and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has frequently presented on related issues. He is frequently accepted by trial courts as a qualified expert witness on those issues.

Jason is the managing partner and a founding member of Ravin Glovinsky, LLP, which continues to specialize in litigating corporate governance and member/shareholder/partner disputes. From the beginning, Jason and the firm have focused on “business divorces.” Jason also has experience with contract disputes, unfair competition, business interference and defamation cases as well as real estate disputes in both State and Federal Court.
When not at work, Jason is a recreational tennis player, a begrudging but faithful gym goer, an avid reader/listener to audio books and eager traveler.

Forty years after admission to his first state bar, Tom now spends most of his time in the firm's corporate governance and member/shareholder rights cases. Tom still maintains his 37-year practice in insurance coverage transactional and trial practice. With 27 years working for federal judges, the U.S. Department of Justice and Baker & McKenzie worldwide, Tom has amassed experience in complex civil, commercial real estate, cross-border, FTCA, securities, and insurance disputes in state and federal court.
